I am Hayden Tsang and I am running to be your President 2022/23!

Your Vice-President at the Students' Union 2021/22
• Graduated from Cyber Security in 2021
• Player and Coach for the Staffordshire Stallions American Football Team 2018 - Present
• I want to lead this next academic year to the best it should be
I started at Staffs back in 2018, and spent my 3 years studying Cybersecurity.
Through those 3 years (including 1.5 years of COVID-19) I have experienced a lot of Staffs, the good, the bad, and the real ugly, or so I thought...
In my first year, I joined the Staffordshire Stallions American Football Team and now an experienced player and part-time coach. I have been around a range of communities and events at Staffs such as various sports teams, LRV club nights, on-campus gym, Science Centre Events and many more. One of my goals is to lead current and new students to a real better staffs.

After experiencing the last year as one of your Vice Presidents, I am ready to comeback for the next year leading the forefront, and work with the new Officer team to hit real, achievable, attainable goals within a Officers year and to establish stable grounds for those Officers to come after.
I have been recommended and chose to fully nominate myself for Full-Time Officer because I want to support all students through tough and challenging times. I want to continue by becoming Full-Time Officer to help students post-Covid for the experience they want and to ensure the University can offer the best experience for those here!

Over my last 4 years here, I have experienced all aspects of university life on and around campus. I have discovered key elements I want to help keep up and improve on with the union for students by being an officer to represent you!
There are various points within my manifesto that I want to work on with the feedback from students and in my opinion, we can improve more. Personally, I want to focus on the development side of our students and empowering them with their voice.
I have my own experiences such as the last year, and it has only made me want to comeback harder and work, empower, and encourage students to know their rights, their voice, and their experience at Staffordshire University!
